Overview
The Grex GCH850 is a cordless 2-inch 21 gauge brad nailer (GCH850), the first cordless nailer in this gauge on the market. It bridges the gap between a full 18 gauge brad nailer and a 23 gauge headless pinner, giving you 18 gauge holding strength with a smaller 23 gauge-sized hole to fill.
It fires instantly with no ramp-up time, closer to how a pneumatic nailer feels than most cordless nailers. It runs on two AAA batteries and a fuel cartridge (Grex GFC01) rather than a rechargeable lithium pack, which means no charging downtime between shots — swap batteries or a cartridge and keep working.
Best suited for trim and molding, cabinet and furniture assembly, jig fixtures, light wood assembly, paneling, window beading, and door and window casings — anywhere you want brad-nailer holding strength without leaving a 18 gauge-sized hole to fill.
